Ayurveda translated is "Veda", knowledge or wisdom "Ayur" life or longevity.
This lifestyle science is the healing branch of the system of yoga, which arose from the Vedas 5,000 years ago.
Ayurveda gives us the eyes to see who we really are through understanding that everyone and everything is comprised of the basic elements-ether, air, fire, water and earth. These elements are what unify us, yet we each have our own unique proportions of these elements and their qualities. Ayurveda helps us see to the root of our suffering - physical, mental and emotional - by bringing us into harmony with nature and our natural composition. Allergies, emotions, cravings, indigestion, and any imbalance or dis-ease no longer have to be a mystery...there is a rhyme and reason to it all.
The Goal of this workshop series is to take the foundation learned in Introduction to Ayurveda and build upon it over 3 successive months. This will allow us to take in more of this ancient wisdom and have time to digest and assimilate what we learn. Furthermore, we will be primed to bring this knowledge into a daily practice for our lifetime.

Part 2 - Ayurveda Internal Care

Learn about gut health and it's correlation to physical and mental health. We will also take a deeper look into what foods YOU should favor or avoid.
Part 3 - Ayurveda External Care
December 3, 2017
Learn about skin, hair, eyes, tongue and nose health and it's correlation to overall health and well being. Through dinacharya practices we will see the benefits of stronger immune systems and vibrant health. We will learn about what oils (topical and aromatic) are best for YOU.
